ACT Leave has developed a comprehensive Services Industry Scheme Communication Kit for all Services Industry employers, designed to help you prepare for your entry into the scheme on 1 July 2026.

The kit contains helpful information about the Services Industry Scheme, as well as resources to assist you to communicate with your employees about the scheme.

You can also access the kit on the Resources page of our website.

What’s inside the kit?

Inside the kit you will find employee-focused resources to help explain the scheme, including:

  • ready-to-use images for newsletters
  • pre-written copy for communications
  • an educational postcard
  • a letter from ACT Leave to your employees
  • printable posters.

To use the kit, simply choose the materials best suited to your needs, customise them as needed, and share them through your preferred channels.

The kit also contains further information for employers, including:

  • comprehensive FAQs to answer common questions about the Services Industry Scheme
  • an educational employer brochure in English, Vietnamese and Simplified Chinese
  • a quarterly return template.

Holiday Shutdown
We will be closed for the holiday shutdown from 12pm Tuesday 24 December 2024, and will be back in the office at 8.30am on Thursday 2 January 2025. 
Changes to Quarterly Return Calendars
Please be advised that the ACT Government has updated its declaration of public holidays for April 2026, with an additional public holiday added for Saturday 25 April 2026, alongside the existing public holiday on Monday 27 April 2026.

The quarterly return calendars have been updated to reflect this change.
